Pickler lived in a difficult environment. When she was only two, her mother left her in order to escape an abusive marriage. Pickler was brought back to her mom in the year 1995 when she took over custody. This did not go as planned. Pickler returned to her grandparents at twelve years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her kids in the absence of their parents. She admitted she didn't have time to learn and she began to understand how to be a homemaker at a young age. Pickler had been an athlete in middle school and her high school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler is also a contestant for a beauty pageant. She was named Miss Stanly Country.
