Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. She was just two when her mother abandoned her to get away from an abusive marriage. Her return to the life of Pickler in 1995, and took custody of her. It did not work out as planned. Pickler aged 12 was returned to her parents through the court. They raised her until she turned an adult. Pickler was too busy raising her younger siblings in the absence of parents. She admitted that she didn't have time to go to school, and she began to become a housewife from an early age. Pickler was on her high school's and middle school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School, which she attended from 2004 when she graduated is her school of choice. Pickler was also an beauty contestant. Her name was even a reference to Miss Stanly County.
