Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is also a coach as well as trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first woman to be awarded the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Also, she is known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Since a young childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and was a fan of doing exercises. She was awarded numerous medals in school competitions. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years older (as at 2021). She is 5' 7 tall, and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She did well on her first competitions and finished with the top 10. The team was unable to win any awards but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. It was in her second year that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. She also received a gold medal. In 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie has gained notoriety for her athletic talents, is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube channel where videos of training along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are shared.
